The IAM Solution Architect role involves designing secure architectures, integrating cybersecurity controls, managing optimization of team performance, and ensuring compliance with security requirements in IAM solutions for large organizations.
We are looking for a talented IAM Solution Architect to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate organization in Atlanta, GA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Translate stakeholder needs into secure, scalable solutions by collaborating across business, IT, and security to define requirements and deliver the right technology fit.
- Align and harden system configurations (OS, network, applications, cloud) to meet documented performance, resilience, and security requirements—reducing misconfigurations and drift.
- Engineer and research new capabilities that fully integrate cybersecurity controls into the enterprise stack, improving detection, prevention, and response effectiveness.
- Design secure architectures for hardware, operating systems, and software applications that meet cybersecurity requirements from the outset (“secure‑by‑design”).
- Oversee authorized penetration testing of enterprise assets, prioritize and drive remediation, and validate fixes to measurably reduce exploitable risk.
- Strengthen financial stewardship by contributing to AOP planning, managing budgets and POs, reconciling invoices, and forecasting costs to deliver security outcomes efficiently.
- Lead and optimize team performance—managing employees/contractors, aligning resources to near‑term and strategic goals, and embedding continuous improvement.
- Develop talent and relationships by coaching and mentoring team members, driving performance plans and training, and applying BRM practices to deliver clear business value.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification preferred.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of cybersecurity work experience is required.
- 2 years of experience with Cloud technology and concepts preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution design and implementation.
- 7+ years of experience architecting enterprise IAM solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise IAM service capabilities in large, technically complex organizations.
- Expertise with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Delinea, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping Identity.
- Experience with cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
- Experience working with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory concepts including users, computers, groups, and policies.
- Understanding of database architecture and core database concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, processes, and workflows.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong enterprise relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to technical, non-technical, management, and executive audiences.
- Strong diagnostic, testing, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment across multiple teams.

Responsibilities
- Architect modern IAM solutions that integrate with cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments while aligning with regulatory and business objectives.
- Define IAM architecture and reference patterns and develop supporting documentation including architectural diagrams and technical specifications.
- Establish policies and standards for Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and Access Management (AM).
- Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and hybrid IT infrastructures.
- Collaborate with business leaders and technical stakeholders to translate identity and access requirements into scalable and compliant IAM solutions.
- Provide architectural governance and ensure quality and delivery assurance for IAM initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve IAM solutions in support of compliance requirements and industry best practices.
- Support ongoing system operations, maintenance activities, and issue resolution while proactively identifying and addressing technical risks.
- Assist application teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure proper IAM integration.
- Conduct industry and market research to stay current on IAM technologies, emerging trends, and best practices.
