The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, coordinating HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR reporting. The HR Coordinator acts as a liaison between HR, management, and employees, ensuring the efficient execution of HR functions and contributing to a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Recruitment & Staffing Support
- Post job openings on company websites, job boards, and social media channels.
- Screen resumes and applications for basic qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with reference checks and background verifications.
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documents.
2. Employee Onboarding & Orientation
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions.
- Ensure completion of all required employment documents (I-9, W-4, state forms).
- Assist new employees with benefits enrollment and policy orientation.
3. HR Records & Data Management
- Maintain accurate personnel files and HRIS records.
- Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Generate HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and compliance metrics.
