Position Overview

The Account Technical Lead, Territory (ATL) is a fully proficient technical advisor who independently drives partner-led technical execution across a territory. The role balances customer engagement, partner enablement, and scalable technical strategy to influence revenue growth and customer outcomes at scale.

This position will be hybrid and going into the office once per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery for partner-led opportunities, ensuring alignment to repeatable solution patterns

  • Guide partners and ARs in designing and positioning Autodesk solutions aligned to best practices

  • Develop and maintain territory-level technical roadmaps and reusable enablement assets

  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities and influence partner-led upsell and cross-sell motions

  • Orchestrate specialist engagement when required, ensuring partner-first execution

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to partner technical leads and sales teams

  • Co-develops territory and account plans with ARs and Partner Managers

  • Advises sales on technical engagement thresholds and partner readiness

  • Supports Customer Success alignment for adoption and expansion

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong technical proficiency across Autodesk solutions relevant to the territory

  • Ability to design scalable, partner-executable technical approaches

  • Sound business judgment in prioritizing technical investment and engagement

  • Strong storytelling and persuasion skills tailored to partners and mid-market customers

  • Capability to mentor junior ATLs and partners

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $126,200 and $226,160. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
