HRIS Oracle Senior Associate – Performance, Journeys & Talent Modules

Position Summary
The HRIS Oracle Senior Associate is a key functional contributor supporting the firm’s Oracle Cloud HCM Talent ecosystem, with primary responsibility for Performance Management and Oracle Journeys. This role partners closely with People & Culture stakeholders to deliver reliable day‑to‑day system operations while driving continuous improvement and adoption of Oracle capabilities across the employee lifecycle.
The Senior Associate translates business needs into scalable Oracle solutions, supports quarterly releases and enhancements, and ensures a consistent, high‑quality experience for employees and managers. Experience with Succession Planning and Career Development modules is preferred, supporting an integrated approach to talent management.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for an HRIS professional who enjoys functional ownership, problem‑solving, and working at the intersection of HR process and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Performance Management
- Provide functional support and ongoing administration of Oracle Performance Management, including goals, performance documents, check‑ins, anytime feedback, and review cycles.
- Support annual, mid‑year, and ad‑hoc performance processes, ensuring configurations align with business requirements and talent strategies.
- Troubleshoot functional, support issues related to workflows, eligibility, visibility, and reporting; partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve as needed.
Oracle Journeys
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Oracle Journeys to support onboarding, employee lifecycle events, talent‑related processes, and other ad hoc use cases.
- Design role‑based, user‑friendly journeys in partnership with HR stakeholders to improve adoption and employee experience.
- Maintain journey content, tasks, notifications, and eligibility rules to reflect evolving processes and policies.
HRIS Operations & Release Support
- Perform recurring HRIS operational and maintenance activities related to talent modules.
- Participate in UAT, regression testing, and production validation for quarterly Oracle releases and enhancements.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across talent processes and downstream reporting.
Documentation, Training & Change Support
- Create and maintain functional documentation, job aids, and end‑user guidance.
- Support change management and training efforts to promote adoption of new functionality and process updates.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system usability.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and present potential AI use cases that could be enabled.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent, Learning, and People Operations teams as a trusted HRIS functional resource.
- Contribute to broader HRIS initiatives, implementations, and integrations.
Succession Planning & Career Development (Preferred)
- Support functional administration of Oracle Succession Planning, including talent pools, readiness indicators, and succession plans.
- Assist with Career Development functionality such as development goals, career preferences, and growth frameworks.
- Support testing, reporting, and issue resolution for succession and development modules.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 4+ years of HRIS, Oracle HCM experience, including hands‑on functional support.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Performance Management and/or Oracle Journeys.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and how they translate into Oracle configurations.
- Have complete understanding of SDLC starting from requirement analysis, development, testing, production go live & support.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle Succession Planning and/or Career Development modules.
- Experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Familiarity with OTBI and talent‑related reporting.
- Experience supporting global or multi‑region HRIS environments.
The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Chicago, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Denver, CO, Reno, NV, Cleveland, OH and Baltimore, MD offices only is between $88,000 and $132,000 per year.
