Job Description

Graham Healthcare Group is hiring an HR Specialist to join our dynamic team! The HR Specialist will support a wide range of employee-focused programs and outreach efforts across Graham Healthcare Group (GHG)and affiliated portfolio companies. This role plays a key part in driving a positive employee experience, coordinating recognition and engagement initiatives, and managing vendor relationships to ensure consistent program delivery. This position can be remote.

HR Specialist Job Responsibilities:

Outreach

  • Conduct welcome calls for Home Health and Hospice nursing staff.
  • Perform follow-up calls from Home Health and Hospice nursing staff to assess retention and onboarding effectiveness.  Requires accurate and complete documentation of outreach within tools for actioning, trending, and analysis.

Employee Programs & Recognition

  • Manage all aspects of the gifting platform, including setup, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
  • Coordinate bimonthly new hire gifts and onesie deliveries.
  • Oversee clinical holiday recognitions and decade milestone awards, partnering with external vendors for timely delivery.
  • Administer and manage the anniversary uniform program.

Vendor Management & Analysis

  • Serve as the primary contact for all employee experience vendors.
  • Handle vendor issues and resolve program-related concerns.
  • Analyze vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes.
  • Escalate trends or concerns identified through external reviews as part of reputation management.

Program Support & Expansion

  • Manage the Katharine Graham Excellence Award recognition program.
  • Oversee the Impact Award program, including nominations, selection, and fulfillment.
  • Lead efforts related to Top Workplace and Best Places to Work submissions.
  • Coordinate and analyze the Hospice Quarterly Survey: distribute, track responses, summarize findings, and follow up with HR and leadership.
  • Provide employee program support across portfolio companies, helping expand and align initiatives with GHG standards.
  • Assist the Sr. HR Specialist with projects, communicate with stakeholders, and assist in implementation and deployment of the projects.

Communications

  • Assist in developing communications for employee experience and work with the Director of Communications.
  • Assist in revamping HR communications into standardized templates, related to all HR policies and procedures.

HR Specialist Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, employee engagement, or program coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, verbally and written.
  • Experience managing external vendors and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfort with HRIS and reporting tools.
