Job Description SummaryThe HR Integration Leader – Prolec is a mission-critical role within GE Vernova's Mergers & Acquisitions Center of Expertise (M&A CoE). Reporting directly to the HR M&A Leader and working in close collaboration with the Electrification and Prolec HR team, this leader will build and lead a cross-functional team of internal HR professionals and external partners, driving the end-to-end delivery of the Prolec HR integration across operations in Mexico, the United States, and Brazil.
This is a mission-based role with an expected program duration of approximately 18 to 24 months. The leader is accountable for both what the team accomplishes and how it operates — giving the team a clear sense of mission, purpose, and direction while building a culture defined by accountability, inclusion, and a commitment to transformational outcomes. This role requires the ability to drive aggressive results in a complex, multi-country environment and the resilience to lead through ambiguity and change.

Job Description

This role is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of the Prolec HR integration, providing leadership oversight across HR workstream leads and their teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing mission, purpose, and direction to a diverse team: Establish and sustain a clear sense of mission for a cross-functional team of internal HR professionals and external partners. Model and build a team culture defined by accountability, inclusion, transparency, and a commitment to transformational outcomes. The leader is responsible for both what the team achieves and how the team works together.

  • Anchoring the integration to the investment thesis: Ensure that HR integration decisions and priorities remain connected to the strategic rationale for the acquisition of Prolec, serving as a steward of the deal's long-term value throughout execution.

  • Leading the HR implementation program: Drive end-to-end delivery from mobilization through Workday cutover and stabilization, following a phased integration strategy across Mexico, the United States, and Brazil.

  • Building and leading a high-performing, cross-functional team: Attract, onboard, and develop a joint GEV–Prolec HR implementation team across workstreams including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Client Support, People Operations/Workday, Learning & Development, Talent Management, HR Change Management, and Payroll/Time & Attendance. Resolve resource gaps and ensure the team is staffed and mobilized to deliver at pace.

  • Collaborating with the People Operations PMO: Partner closely with the People Operations Project Management Organization to leverage established standard work, tools, and operating rhythms, ensuring consistency with GE Vernova's HR delivery standards.

  • Developing and maintaining a detailed, milestone-driven implementation plan: Establish project roadmaps with clearly defined owners, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria. Track progress against the critical path and proactively address schedule risk.

  • Coordinating across workstreams and resolving cross-functional dependencies: Facilitate recurring cross-functional forums; surface and manage risks, issues, and resource gaps; and ensure integration readiness across all workstreams.

  • Serving as the primary escalation point for workstream leads: Triage risks and escalate critical decisions, drawing on internal and external resources to arrive at sound decisions.

  • Managing external partner relationships: Own and actively manage relationships with external implementation partners and vendors, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and ensuring GE Vernova receives maximum value from its investment in external support.

  • Providing executive updates and overviews: Prepare and deliver executive-level communications that provide transparency into program health, surface key risks and decisions, and inform timely action by senior leadership and the HR Integration Governance committee.

  • Driving organizational readiness: Oversee change management, role-based training, country-specific communications, and employee engagement strategies across all three operating geographies.

  • Contributing to M&A standard work: Participate in M&A CoE operating rhythms and embed lessons learned from the Prolec integration into GE Vernova's standard work for future transactions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Significant years of progressive HR Leadership experience
Desired Characteristics
  • Resilient and driven to deliver transformational outcomes: Demonstrated ability to sustain momentum and deliver results in high-pressure, ambiguous environments. Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex HR programs requiring significant organizational change and the ability to mobilize broad commitment across diverse stakeholder groups. Brings a strong change management orientation — with experience designing and executing strategies that drive adoption of new processes and ways of working across diverse employee populations and geographies.

  • Inspires mission, purpose, and culture: Demonstrated ability to give a team a clear sense of mission and direction and to build a high-performing, inclusive team culture. Understands that leadership accountability extends beyond results to encompass how a team operates, collaborates, and grows together.

  • Skilled stakeholder management: Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and manage a broad and diverse set of stakeholders across organizational levels, functions, and geographies. Builds trust quickly, navigates competing priorities with diplomacy, and sustains alignment throughout a complex, multi-phase program.

  • Drives simplicity and clarity within complex processes: Ability to cut through complexity and bring structure, focus, and clarity to a large-scale, multi-workstream program. Communicates with precision and ensures that teams and stakeholders always understand priorities, decisions, and next steps.

  • Leads with a Lean mindset: Skilled in applying Lean principles to continually improve operations, eliminate waste, and drive efficiency across integration execution and team ways of working.

  • Strong project management skills: Demonstrated experience defining milestones, building and managing detailed workplans, establishing operating rhythms, and identifying and mitigating risk across complex, multi-workstream programs.

  • Executive communication and presence: Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver executive-level updates and to communicate complex messages clearly and credibly across audiences — from frontline HR teams to senior leadership. Skilled at influencing and negotiating across organizational boundaries.

  • Flexibility and global agility: Ability and willingness to travel extensively during key program phases and to work effectively across global time zones in support of a multi-country integration spanning Mexico, the United States, and Brazil.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform inclusively in a diverse, global environment and to promote inclusion and belonging in the workplace.
