Intro:
The HR Business Partner Specialist supports HR Business Partners by providing coordination, consultation, and day-to-day support across employee lifecycle activities, workforce processes, and manager and employee-facing HR needs within multiple business functions. This role blends hands-on execution with increasing ownership of HR workflows, employee relations intake support, reporting coordination, and process improvement activities while serving as a trusted operational partner to HRBPs and business stakeholders. The position works closely with HRBPs, internal HR teams, and cross-functional partners to support business priorities, drive consistent HR practices, and help deliver a positive employee and manager experience across the organization.
This role requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and process-oriented, with the ability to effectively support HR programs, systems, and operational initiatives while creating structure in ambiguous situations and knowing when to act independently and when to escalate.
Responsibilities:
Partner with HR Business Partners across multiple business functions to coordinate HR activities, processes, and transactions, supporting operational efficiency while building experience across core HRBP functions.
Coordinate employee lifecycle processes including transitions, offboarding, workforce changes, and focused senior leader onboarding support.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, processes, and HRBP support, delivering responsive and accurate guidance while ensuring appropriate escalation to HR Business Partners when needed and using sound judgment on when to engage Legal, Benefits, or other partners.
Support intake, coordination, documentation, and escalation of employee relations matters and frontline HR workflows.
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records, organizational documentation, workforce reporting, and process standards across HR functions while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Assist in the development, standardization, communication, execution, and continuous improvement of HR processes, programs, and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
Support employee experience initiatives, manager enablement efforts, organizational development activities, and enterprise-wide HR programs.
Provide additional HRBP support during periods of high-volume programs, projects, organizational changes, or business initiatives while helping create structure and continuity across the team.
Build collaborative partnerships with internal HR teams, including HR Operations, Employee Experience, and Talent Acquisition, as well as cross-functional stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Payroll, and business leadership to ensure strong execution and a positive stakeholder experience.
Prepare and distribute routine HR reports, maintain tracking documentation, and support workforce data administration activities with a high level of accuracy, discretion, and follow-through.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-4 years of experience in HR coordination, HR operations, employee experience, HR administration, or related human resources support roles or generalist roles.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and create structure in evolving or loosely defined processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with confidence supporting both employees and managers.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion and sound judgment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy and consistency with strong follow-through and documentation quality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems or HRIS platforms, including Workday.
Experience identifying when issues can be resolved directly and when they require escalation to HRBPs or partner teams.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting HR Business Partners or enterprise HR teams in a matrixed organization.
Familiarity with employee lifecycle processes, onboarding coordination, and HR workflow management, including manager consultation.
Experience supporting employee relations intake or case coordination activities, investigations support, or accommodations workflows.
Exposure to process improvement, workflow optimization, or operational standardization initiatives and centralizing fragmented work.
Experience working with HR systems, ticketing tools, or workflow management platforms, including case management tools.

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $61,000.00 - $81,000.00 - $89,100.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
