A Day in the Life of Our PTA:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver skilled, medically necessary treatment interventions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering a variety of therapeutic procedures (manual techniques, exercises, modalities, etc.).
- Monitoring patient progress and collaborating with the PT to adjust treatment plans.
- Documenting objective measures and justifying continued services.
- Educating patients and families on rehabilitation goals and progress.
- Ensuring meticulous record-keeping in our electronic documentation system.
- Participating in patient care conferences and continuous learning opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current and active PTA license (REQUIRED).
- One year of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply!
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ethical patient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
