We are seeking a senior trading-technology leader to design and deliver the technology stack connecting customers to a regulated US derivatives market.
The ideal candidate will have built an FCM operation from the ground up or led the technology function at a leading FCM or service provider for FCMs and broker-dealers.
They will bring deep knowledge of the vendor landscape and a strong track record of making strategic technology, operational, and build-versus-buy decisions.

You will report to the OKX Core Trading Product Management leadership with a dotted line to the CEO and COO of the local entity.
The essential profile is someone who can make architecture and vendor decisions — Not someone hired merely to implement a vendor choice already made.
- Design the end-to-end US derivatives trading architecture.
- Lead the selection of the clearing FCM, OMS and market-access providers.
- Deep familiarity with leading OMS, risk-management, and market-data vendors in the U.S. derivatives ecosystem.
- Decide between vendor-provided, direct-exchange and hybrid connectivity.
- Define the long-term build-versus-buy roadmap.
- Lead internal and vendor integrations across OMS, margin, liquidation, funding, UI, and KYC.
- Lead exchange connectivity, certification and production readiness.
- Define pre-trade risk, kill-switch, drop-copy and reconciliation requirements.
- Establish 24/7 monitoring, incident response and disaster recovery.
- Own vendor technical diligence, contracts, SLAs and delivery.
- Recruit and lead the US trading-technology team.
- Define the target architecture and systems of record.
- Select the DCM connectivity model, clearing FCM and technology providers.
- Deliver exchange certification and production readiness.
- Establish reconciliation, risk controls and 24/7 support.
- Produce a roadmap for increasing internal ownership of the stack.
- 10+ years in electronic trading or capital-markets technology.
- Deep knowledge of listed derivatives and US futures market structure.
- Experience with OMS, FIX, exchange connectivity, market data and pre-trade risk.
- Prior experience working at an FCM is preferred.
- Understanding of the complete execution, clearing and settlement lifecycle.
- Track record delivering mission-critical trading platforms.
- Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical architecture.
- Strong leadership across engineering, product, risk, compliance and operations.

The salary range for this position is $313,055 to $450,799.
The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
