Role Description:
The Head of SFU Bulk Implementation will lead gFiber’s SFU Bulk business. In this entrepreneurial environment, you will join a team built on highly collaborative workstreams, clear accountability, and data-driven execution.
In this role, you will help strengthen gFiber’s market position and expand our reach by building an operational engine that connects strategy, sales, network planning, legal, and customer experience. Operating as the primary hub in a hub-and-spoke model, you will drive new partnerships while supporting and mentoring regional sales representatives managing local opportunities. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional leaders to establish a scalable, repeatable framework.
Ideal candidates thrive in a collaborative, flat-operational environment where proactive problem-solving, strong governance, and cross-functional partnership are essential to scaling a key growth channel.
In this role, you’ll:
- Own National Program Architecture & Playbooks: Serve as the single point of national program ownership for SFU Bulk, authoring standardized developer pitch decks, Master Service Agreement (MSA) frameworks, and programmatic playbooks to establish market parity and scale.
- Opportunity Pre-qualification & Business Case Development: Lead the financial and operational evaluation of bulk leads using a gating qualification model while analyzing total market opportunity to include single-family, multi-family, and potentially commercial opportunities as part of the business case story.
- Sales Enablement: Act as the central hub routing opportunities dynamically based on decision making criteria and network status.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with Greenfield, Expansion, Strategic Network Planning and Service Delivery teams to evaluate opportunities and network connectivity options required to service the new communities.
- Champion Product Readiness & Go-To-Market Execution: Collaborate with Greenfield, Product, Engineering, and Regional Market Teams to execute go-to-market strategies using applicable single-family bulk or greenfield playbooks. Drive the deployment of the pre-provisioned network architecture through smooth handovers to assigned local sales contacts.
- Conduct Competitive Intelligence & Footprint Mining: Leverage FCC deployment filings, land data, and market intelligence to identify opportunities based on network availability, capacity, developer & HOA interest, and total market opportunity.
At a minimum we’d like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of business development, sales leadership, or program management experience with a telecommunications / fiber operator.
- 3 years of direct experience structuring, negotiating, and closing bulk telecommunications agreements, Rights-of-Entry (ROE), or Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with HOAs, developers, and homebuilders.
- Proven track record of cross-functional leadership in matrixed environments, working closely across sales, engineering, network planning, legal, greenfield development, and finance.
- Financial acumen with experience running ROI models, calculating IRR, understanding sales incentives, and conducting capital expenditure assessments.
It’s preferred if you have:
- Deep industry expertise in the SFU Bulk landscape and competitive operating models.
- Experience establishing property partnerships and aligning schedules directly with master-planned community developers.
- Familiarity with 3rd-party circuit procurement, leased backhaul architectures, dark fiber solutions, and telecom intake tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build a new corporate program or initiative from the ground up in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
The US base salary for this full-time position is $140,000 - $227,000 + bonus + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
