Build Sumble’s sales enablement function from the ground up. Design onboarding and ramp programs for Account Executives and Customer Success Managers, create playbooks and battlecards, run coaching and skill development, and partner with RevOps on CRM and tooling. Track ramp time, win rates, and conversion metrics to improve effectiveness. Initially work as a solo contributor, then hire and scale the function as the company grows.

About Us

Sumble helps go-to-market teams win with deep account intelligence and signals that other data vendors simply can't provide. We map every account, person, and job post globally to uncover insights that were previously impossible to gather. For example, we can identify every company in the US currently running a data migration project involving Databricks, while pinpointing the exact team and person leading the initiative. Our long-term vision is to become the primary destination for accessing high-quality web data. Try the product at sumble.com.

Our Team

We are a team of 35. We have a strong technical team with experience working at companies such as Meta, Google, Databricks, Stack Overflow, and Kaggle, and a strong GTM team with people from Confluent, Snowflake, 11x, Rippling, and Opendoor.

Requirements

Build the Onboarding & Ramp System

  • Design and run onboarding for new Account Executives and CSMs so they're productive in their first 90 days.
  • Turn what's currently in reps' heads and Slack threads into a living playbook: qualification criteria, discovery questions, objection handling, competitive positioning.
  • Define what "ramped" means for each role and how you'll know a rep has gotten there.

Arm the Team to Sell, Retain, and Expand

  • Build battlecards, case studies, and pitch materials reps actually use in live calls, not decks that sit in a folder.
  • Partner with CS to build renewal and expansion playbooks alongside the AE new-logo playbook.
  • Run regular skill-building: call reviews, role-plays, deal coaching.

Prove What's Working

  • Track ramp time, win rates by stage, and call-to-close ratios, and use them to decide what to build next.
  • Partner with RevOps on CRM and tooling so process changes stick in the systems reps use every day.

Build the Function

  • This is our first dedicated enablement hire. You'll do the work yourself first, then hire and build the team to scale it as our AE and CSM headcount grows.
  • Be honest about what to cut when the roadmap outpaces what one person can build.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: audited every existing sales and CS artifact and sat in on live calls to find the real gaps.
  • First 60 days: shipped a new-hire onboarding curriculum and the first set of battlecards.
  • First 120 days: ramp time for a new rep is measurably shorter than it was before you joined.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience building sales enablement, sales ops, or GTM programs from scratch, ideally at an early-stage or high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • You've carried a quota or owned a book of business yourself at some point. You should know what a rep needs on a call, not just what a template says they need.
  • Scrappy and resourceful. When there's no playbook, you write one. When the tool doesn't exist, you find a workaround.
  • Clear, confident communicator, written and verbal, comfortable presenting to founders as often as to reps.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change. Our product, processes, and priorities will evolve, and so will this role.
  • Natural collaborator who works across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing with low ego and high output.
  • Opinionated about systems and tooling. You've picked a CRM, a call-recording tool, or an enablement platform before, lived with the consequences, and have a point of view on what's worth paying for.

We hire remotely across US time zones.
