Working on the Finance Department

We are seeking a forward-thinking Head of FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner with senior leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic insights that shape the direction of the business. This is a great opportunity to influence company-wide decisions and elevate our financial strategy as we continue to scale.

A quick heads up: This role is intended to be full-time, but we’ll be starting with a short-term contract as a first step. During this period, benefits won’t be available. We're looking for someone who's ready to jump in now (not balancing other work) and excited about committing to something longer term.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Report to the SVP of Finance.

  • Lead budgeting, long-range planning, and quarterly forecasting processes.

  • Provide strategic financial analysis to support executive decision-making, including scenario planning, margin analysis, and investment assessments.

  • Build and manage financial models and dashboards to provide actionable insights.

  • Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances; recommend actions to leadership.

  • Collaborate with business units to align financial plans with operational priorities.

  • Drive improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting systems.

  • Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews and contribute to Board materials.

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.

  • Work closely with Accounting, Treasury, and other Finance functions to ensure alignment.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA a plus).

  • 10+ years in Finance, with at least 5 years focused on FP&A.

  • Experience in FP&A within Healthcare required; Ecommerce or Food Delivery/Logistics is a plus.

  • Background in strategy consulting or experience in strategic advisory roles is a strong plus.

  • Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning in high-growth or startup environments.

  • Expertise in building and managing complex financial models and dashboards.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and Boards.

  • Advanced proficiency in FP&A softwares and financial systems.

Compensation Philosophy (Full-time Employees)

The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.
Compensation estimates are based on market data about the role and level, while individual compensation offers will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
