Who we are looking for
  • Passion: A demonstrable passion for tattoos and for leading engineering teams.

  • Experience: 8+ years in full stack software development, with a focus on mobile development using React Native.

  • Management: 2+ years of a proven ability to motivate and lead high-performing teams, and to successfully recruit new engineers into those teams.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: A provide ability to engage and lead cross-functionally as a engineering leader in an organization.
    Language mastery: Expert typescript knowledge, you are a proponent for strict typing.

  • React Expertise: Proven track record of building performant, high MAU web applications using React and Nextjs. Skilled in debugging performance issues on the web.

  • React Native Expertise: Proven track record of building large, excellent, high MAU React Native applications to both iOS and Android, using expo and bare react native. Highly skilled in setting up/managing/debugging xcode, gradle and expo.

  • Ownership: Experience driving a project and taking the initiative to bring in other departments at the right times in order to deliver the best feature you can.

  • Agile Methodologies: Experience leading in an Agile/Scrum environment, with the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced, iterative development process.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience working in fast growing start-ups, marketplaces, or B2C mobile apps.

  • Above average sense of humor.

  • A passion to work with AI and build an AI enhanced product.
