About The Team & Role
Digital collectibles are one of the most exciting frontiers in consumer entertainment, where fandom, gamification, and ownership converge. From card rips and pack-opening experiences to gamified marketplaces and creator-led drops, collectibles represent a massive opportunity to deepen engagement, expand Betr's audience, and open a new growth vertical within the super app.
We are seeking a Head of Digital Collectibles to define, launch, and scale Betr's collectibles business. This is a highly visible, leadership role with end-to-end accountability across strategy, demand, content, product, compliance, and P&L. You will operate as the founder of a new business line inside a company that already reaches over one million paying users, with the brand, media engine, and distribution to win.
Location: This role is a hybrid role based in Miami, FL or Remote, depending on candidate location, per company policy.
What You Will Accomplish:
- Deliver ambitious GMV, revenue, and engagement targets for Digital Collectibles at Betr
- Be the Head of for the vertical, with accountability for both topline growth and bottom-line performance
- Establish Betr's right-to-win in digital collectibles, informed by market dynamics, collector behavior, and the competitive landscape
- Translate strategy into clear roadmaps and execution plans across product, engineering, media, and operations
- Define assortment strategy, including target collector segments, categories (sports cards, TCG, memorabilia, digital-native assets),
- Lead the creation of entertaining, high-conversion collectibles experiences native to the Betr super app — pack openings, rips, drops, live breaks, and gamified collecting mechanics
- Partner with Betr Media to develop creator-led programming, live events, and content formats that make collecting a spectator sport
- Ensure Betr stands apart through trust, authenticity, differentiated programming, and an experience rooted in confidence and fun
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to navigate the regulatory landscape across jurisdictions, ensuring product mechanics are compliant and consumer-protective
- Build authentication, buyer protection, and fulfillment standards that make Betr the most trusted place to collect
- Influence senior stakeholders and founders to align resources, remove blockers, and deliver category outcomes
- Drive execution with the rigor of an operator and the adaptability of a startup founder
- Build, hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team, including entrepreneurial category managers as the vertical scales
- Evolve team structure, operating rhythms, and processes as Digital Collectibles grows

What You will bring to Betr:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, gaming, collectibles, or consumer entertainment, including direct work with sellers, brands, or licensors
- Deep experience in trading cards, collectibles, sports memorabilia, breaks/rips, or enthusiast commerce strongly preferred
- Proven experience owning or influencing P&L, GMV, or revenue targets
- Strong interest in, or experience with, live selling, gamified commerce, creator-led marketplaces, or real-money gaming
- Demonstrated success launching and scaling new business lines from zero to one
- Ability to operate in a highly competitive category where trust, selection, speed, and experience quality matter
- Exceptional strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to identify patterns, set direction, and iterate quickly
- Strong cross-functional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and build trusted partner relationships
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous, founder-led environment
