Growth Marketing, Sr. Associate – Emerging Media & Planning | Acorns

Acorns is looking for a strategic, hands-on Growth Marketing Sr. Associate to own our CTV and Podcast channels and serve as the connective tissue for integrated media planning across paid initiatives. You'll operate as a single-threaded owner for two of our most important emerging channels—managing agency relationships, leading performance-driven tests, and ensuring best-in-class creative execution. You'll also play a critical coordination role across the broader paid marketing team, keeping campaigns on track from planning through launch.

This role is equal parts strategist and executor. You'll bring deep channel expertise in CTV and Podcasts, a sharp analytical mindset, and the organizational discipline to keep cross-functional campaigns moving. You thrive in environments where you own outcomes, not just tasks.

Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing optional access to office space in Irvine, CA.

What You Will Do

CTV & Podcast Channel Ownership

  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for CTV and Podcast paid media, owning strategy, execution, and performance end-to-end.

  • Manage and cultivate relationships with CTV and Podcast agencies, acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact and holding partners accountable to performance and delivery standards.

  • Develop and execute structured testing roadmaps across both channels—spanning audience targeting, creative formats, publisher mix, and buying strategies.

  • Partner closely with Analytics to design and launch incrementality and lift studies, translating results into clear optimization actions and investment recommendations.

  • Ensure creative excellence across CTV and Podcast placements—briefing channel-specific assets, providing feedback rooted in both brand standards and performance KPIs, and iterating quickly based on test learnings.

  • Balance brand-building and performance objectives within each channel, maintaining a clear view of how both contribute to CAC goals and overall growth targets.

Integrated Media Planning & Campaign Coordination

  • Act as the integrated planning coordinator across the paid marketing team, ensuring all paid initiatives are accounted for and aligned when launching new creatives, brand campaigns, or promotional moments.

  • Own and maintain workback schedules for paid campaign launches, proactively flagging risks, keeping stakeholders informed, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Coordinate creative requests across channels, ensuring assets are briefed, approved, and delivered on time for campaign launches.

  • Partner with Analytics and channel managers to confirm tracking is scoped, implemented, and QA'd ahead of every launch.

  • Serve as a central point of communication across paid marketing, creative, analytics, and other cross-functional partners to keep campaigns moving efficiently.

What You Will Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in performance marketing or paid media, with direct, hands-on experience running CTV and/or Podcast campaigns against performance KPIs.

  • Deep familiarity with the CTV ecosystem—including streaming platform dynamics, publisher relationships, and measurement approaches—with the ability to evaluate inventory quality and targeting strategies.

  • Experience managing Podcast media across host-read, produced, and programmatic ad formats, including dynamic ad insertion, publisher partnerships, and podcast-specific attribution methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage agency relationships, set clear expectations, and drive performance accountability.

  • Strong analytical foundation—comfortable designing and interpreting incrementality studies, MMM inputs, and channel-level performance reporting, and translating data into clear recommendations.

  • Proven project management and coordination skills; you build workback schedules, keep stakeholders aligned, and proactively resolve blockers before they become problems.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, analytics, and external agency partners to bring campaigns from brief to launch.

  • A belief that your work is connected to something bigger—helping everyday people build financial security is core to what we do at Acorns, and we want teammates who are energized by that mission.
