Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Applications for this position will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

The Slack Growth Business Account Executive role is part of the broader Salesforce ecosystem, where humans and agents work together to help customers succeed. As a Slack AE, you’ll do more than sell a collaboration platform—you’ll help growing businesses transform how their people, agents, apps, and data work together in the flow of work.
Focused on companies with 46–200 employees, you’ll partner with customers to understand their unique business challenges and show how Slack, Salesforce, Agentforce, and the broader Salesforce platform can help them move faster, improve productivity, and drive growth. You’ll build relationships with business leaders, uncover new opportunities, and lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through close.
We’re looking for a proven sales professional who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment; is energized by solving real customer problems; and can earn trust with decision-makers while consistently delivering measurable business value.
As part of Salesforce, you’ll have the opportunity to bring the power of the agentic enterprise to growing businesses—with Slack serving as the System of Engagement that connects people, agents, apps, and data in the flow of work.
Responsibilities:

  • Sell the Slack platform to both new and existing customers across assigned accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how businesses operate and what drives decisions at the executive level.
  • Uncover customer challenges and map Salesforce solutions across multiple lines of business to create demand and close revenue.
  • Build trust and credibility with customers as a strategic partner, selling on value and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, with at least 1 year in a field sales role and a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts and acquiring net new logo accounts.
  • Experience selling to C-suite executives.
  • Ability to build a business case and deliver a compelling return on investment narrative.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to craft a clear point of view and position yourself as a trusted adviser to customers.
  • Experience building and delivering presentations tailored to executive audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate and strategize across a large, extended internal team.
  • Slack User Experience
  • Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies for the role, including extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer work, and professional experience.
