Job Summary: Designs by Sundown is looking for Arbor Crew members eager to learn and grow in the occupation of Arboriculture. Candidate should be passionate about Arboriculture with a desire to continue their education in the field. Our team of experts is dedicated to providing industry leading service and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients. This position will participate in assisting the climber in safe pruning and removal operations, chipper operation and site cleanup 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist arborists and tree care specialists in tree maintenance and removal tasks. 

  • Operate and maintain tree care equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders. 

  • Perform ground-level tasks such as clearing debris, raking, and disposing of tree limbs and branches. 

  • Ensure the worksite is safe and clean, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. 

  • Assist in setting up and taking down equipment and work areas. 

  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations. 

  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in tree care. 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or a related field is preferred. 

  • Ability to operate and maintain tree care equipment safely and efficiently. 

  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 

  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
