Procurement Lead
Gloo · Hybrid, Boulder, CO (3 days on site) · Full Time · Lead
About the Role
Gloo is hiring a Procurement Lead to own the full vendor and contractor lifecycle, from intake and negotiation through purchase orders, contract execution, renewal, and termination. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury & Contracts within Finance, this person is the control point for company spend, making sure every purchase is reviewed for economics, risk, and IT ownership before it is committed.
The role works closely with Vendor Risk Management, Legal, IT, FP&A, and Accounts Payable, and is responsible for training the organization on procurement procedures and holding teams to them. Success is measured by savings and cost avoidance, the share of spend under an approved PO or contract, PO cycle time, PO and invoice accuracy, and full background check clearance for contractors before system access.
About Gloo
Gloo is a technology platform serving faith based and mission driven organizations, publicly traded on Nasdaq under GLOO.
What You'll Do
• Own lifecycle management for all vendor and contractor agreements, from initiation through renewal or termination.
• Negotiate vendor and SaaS agreements that secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and renewal terms, and periodically revisit existing terms.
• Build a complete view of service providers, SaaS tools, and cloud hosting vendors to drive accountability and eliminate duplicate functionality.
• Partner with IT to ensure SaaS accounts are company owned rather than tied to individuals.
• Maintain and improve the procurement workflow in Ramp, including PO review and issuance, the vendor database, renewals, and process visibility.
• Manage contract execution through Adobe Sign or vendor signing platforms, and keep executed agreements current in the contract repository.
• Route, prioritize, and resolve vendor reviews and contract redlines with Vendor Risk Management and Legal.
• Work with FP&A to understand vendor cost models and surface spend optimization opportunities that support forecasting.
• Own contractor onboarding and offboarding, including background checks and system access provisioning, and maintain the contractor database in Salesforce.
• Review spending commitments and upcoming renewals regularly with internal contract owners.
• Track partnership and revenue share agreements in Ramp and Salesforce for Accounting.
• Build strong working relationships across departments, especially Trust and IT, and keep streamlining procurement for efficiency and scale.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in a business or legal discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in procurement or contract management at a technology company.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a direct, resourceful approach to reaching mutually beneficial vendor agreements.
• Ability to set strategy and execute on it personally.
• Hands on experience with a spend management platform such as Ramp, Concur, or Coupa.
• Hands on experience with an ERP such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite, and with Salesforce.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable systems and processes to support growth.
• Availability to work on site at Gloo's Boulder headquarters at least 3 days per week.

• Working knowledge of contract terms and vendor risk or third party risk processes.
• Comfort working alongside Legal and Security teams on vendor reviews.
