Credence has an immediate need for a General Operations Manager B-1 Div (WBN) at the journeyman level who will be primarily responsible for supporting the B-1 Lancer Division (AFLCMC WBN) at Tinker AFB, OK.

The B-1 Lancer division manages readiness and provides logistical, modification, engineering and technical support for the B-1 aircraft system.  This division provides complete system management and ensures US airpower through acquisitions excellence by delivering modernization, sustainment, and support to the AF’s fleet of B-1 aircraft on-schedule and on-cost.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Provide overall Fighters & Advanced Aircraft, Bombers, and F-35 support for operations utilities, including administrative functions, MIS and IT oversight, DTS, and ADPE inventory.
  • Assist in managing CMEs, facility management, special projects, awards, training, performance management, manpower, and human resource functions.
  • Organize and categorize engineering documents in coordination with other sections.
  • Support monitoring and access to SIPR at 2 AC 76A and the FOG Conference Room.
  • Advise senior leaders, supervisors, and managers on management operations issues.
  • Independently research and advise on sensitive resource policy, procedure, legal, regulatory, and contractual matters.
  • Review draft regulations, directives, and guidance; prepare recommendations and comments reflecting impacts on local policy or practices.
  • Collect, measure, review, and interpret Fighters & Advanced Aircraft, Bombers, and F-35 requirements and related data for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with customer objectives.
  • Serve as project manager for special studies, initiatives, and projects defined by senior leadership.
  • Develop special project reports, briefings, and presentations on project status, findings, and recommendations for AFPEO/WA, Deputy PEO, staff, divisions, branches, senior functional managers, and upper management.
  • Develop a monthly newsletter for directorate-wide communications using information collected from AFPEO/WA, WA/WAB, Deputy PEO, staff, divisions, and branches.
  • Facilitate virtual All Calls using Government-approved virtual communication tools.
  • Support the PEO/DPEO with recording, formatting, and disseminating video messages to the workforce, including Government and industry partners as required.
  • Manage review and approval of social media posts and draft media responses for Public Affairs review and approval.
  • Assist in the development of scripts and preparation materials for the PEO.
  • Engage in forums to deliberate and strategize social media public affairs guidance, instructions, and memorandums.
  • Participate in conferences, symposiums, and meetings, including Life Cycle Industry Days (LCID) and Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) events.
  • Engage in required SecAF Acquisition Executive Branch meetings with emphasis on Agile Combat Employment (ACE).
  • Create SharePoint sites, including LCID sites, to house directorate industry partner engagement materials.
  • Update and maintain the directorate’s media relations and Public Affairs SharePoint site, including decision memorandums, public affairs guidance, media queries, and congressional inquiries.
  • Support PEO FAA video presentations and coordinate with AFLCMC/PA to arrange advanced media training and prepare for media roundtables.
  • Participate in discussions and meetings or serve on panels and committees; provide written reports and briefings outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Coordinate across multiple directorates, organizations, Centers, MAJCOMs, and HQ USAF while providing rationale and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise, and well-structured presentations in oral or written form, tailored to the audience, knowledge level, and desired outcome.
  • Identify problems in broad and detailed terms and help resolve conflicts in a timely manner through meetings, working groups, and coordination with responsible members.
  • Serve as an Operations Management point of contact for AFLCMC/WAO.
  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate actual or potential problem areas in OM activities using trend data and organizational knowledge.
  • Inform senior management of program progress and advise on significant developments that may impact the mission.
  • Determine recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and perform follow-up actions.
  • Research, determine, and recommend appropriate actions or interpretations for issues impacting Fighters & Advanced Aircraft, Bombers, and F-35.
  • Represent AFLCMC/WAO with installation and functional area organizations.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with base organizations, senior leadership, division chiefs, other military services, DoD agencies, and related organizations.
  • Meet with key customers and coordinate officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organizational policy and procedures, and resolve significant problems.
  • Provide customer guidance and training to subordinate divisions within Fighters & Advanced Aircraft, Bombers, and F-35.
  • Establish and maintain master files and file plans of classified and unclassified program data to support tracking and resolution of operations issues.
  • Retrieve data and information through queries and reports; maintain tracking systems for deficiencies, corrective actions, closures, and documentation for Government review and approval.
  • Scan, digitize, and file legacy paper records into new electronic files and storage locations.
  • Monitor and evaluate AFLCMC/WAO activities for compliance with applicable regulations, directives, procedures, and policies.
  • Establish, revise, and review policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organizational design to eliminate work barriers, improve quality, support team building, and address regulatory or customer requirements.
  • Train in creating and maintaining interactive SharePoint sites and workspaces to support the B-1 mission.
  • Provide backup support for taskings assigned to the B-1 from headquarters through various channels, including TMT.
  • Perform self-inspections and present detailed reports with corrective actions taken or required.
  • Ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assess and revise policies and procedures to improve work quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Assist with Fighters & Advanced Aircraft, Bombers, and F-35 in/out-processing actions using the In and Out-Processing System.
  • Initiate and update in/out-processing checklists and associated forms.
  • Schedule incoming personnel for in-processing appointments, brief incoming and outgoing personnel, and coordinate with other OM points of contact.

Requirements

Education, Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have an active or current Secret security clearance (or higher), verifiable in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD
  • OR, seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS), Resource Management Information System (RMIS), DTS, SOCCER, MICT, PMRT, and the Education and Training Management System (ETMS).
  • Ability to handle all official records in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program.
