The General Manager of eCommerce owns the digital commerce strategy and storefront performance for Sling.com and Dish.com. This position addresses the challenge of optimizing high-traffic digital sales funnels to maximize conversion rates, top-line digital revenue, and profit margins. - Integrate AI-driven personalization and automation tools to scale web experimentation and predictive customer targeting
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of digital merchandising and optimization specialists to execute the commerce strategy
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):
- Critical experience leading eCommerce strategy, digital merchandising, or digital direct-to-consumer channels in enterprise environments.
- Strong skills in web analytics, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and A/B testing platforms to interpret data and identify growth opportunities.
- Expertise in AI application to automate digital personalization, optimize search algorithms, and analyze user behavior patterns.
- Deep knowledge of user segmentation, behavioral targeting, and financial performance metrics like customer acquisition costs (CAC).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to drive cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, and IT departments.
- Proven leadership in decision-making, mentoring, and managing high-performing digital teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum Experience: 10 years of experience in eCommerce leadership
- Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:
- Web analytics tools
- Conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing platforms
