The General Imaging Ultrasound Product Sales Specialist (GIUS PSS) is responsible for driving direct sales in the hospital and non-hospital space to maximize revenue growth for the Ultrasound business for GE Healthcare. This role includes developing new and managing existing relationships in the clinical target areas of Radiology, Breast, and Vascular Imaging. The GIUS PSS will collaborate closely with their GE counterparts, Account Executives, Service Sales, Healthcare Finance, Imaging Account Managers and other Ultrasound Product Sales Specialists. This GIUS PSS will partner with their Clinical Specialist to demo equipment, coordinate go live applications training, and ensure ongoing customer education and satisfaction. This individual will also interface with Marketing and Engineering to share customer feedback supporting product enhancements and designs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate direct sales efforts in hospitals and non-hospital arenas
- Coordinate and support sales demonstrations, product shipments, installations and in services alongside the Clinical Specialist
- Develop and execute strategy for retaining current client base, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the full lifecycle of equipment
- Develop and execute strategy to grow business by capturing new clientele and expanding current business.
- Provide Market Leader real time territory and opportunity information utilizing SFDC. Forecast accurately weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales and revenue quotas
- Own fostering a collaborative relationship with other GE Sales representatives, Marketing, and Engineering to support territory success.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Most decisions are within a defined framework, but some autonomy in the final decisions for a project, product line, market, sales process or customers. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Healthcare Capital Sales or the GEHC Commercial Leadership Program (CLP).
- Strong strategic sales skills with proven history of success

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
