What you'll do

CMMC Services at Coalfire Federal

Coalfire Federal is both an authorized C3PAO and a CMMC RPO.

We work with leading manufacturing, IT, Cloud Service, and professional service organizations that compromise the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) serving the United States Department of Defense (DOD). We support the efforts of these organizations to satisfy DOD's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and related government regulations both as an a to organizations preparing for CMMC and as teams of qualified consultants to certify organizations compliance with CMMC requirements.



What kind of positions are in Coalfire Federal's CMMC Services?

Typical positions include, but aren’t limited to full time (W2), certified Assessor roles at the CCP, CCA, and LCCA levels. 


Location

CMMC positions are typically remote, and occasional travel may vary based on client needs.


What you'll bring
  • Experience with organizations preparing for CMMC by helping them determine their in-scope (CUI) boundary and perform Gap Analyses to assess current state against CMMC requirements
  • Experience with compliance remediation services to research and develop technical solutions to compliance related problems, and other services including road mapping, System Security Plan (SSP) development, and Policy and Procedure support
  • Ability to support and guide information risk and security discussions with technical and non-technical groups
  • In depth knowledge on the administration and maintenance of security systems infrastructure, application, devices, tools and software services
  • Previous work experience with CMMC adoption across the DIB, or other 3PAO assessments in the federal space

Education

Completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in an IT related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience


Clearance / Suitability

    • US Citizenship Required.
    • Currently possess active Tier 3 suitability with the CyberAB.

Certifications

    • Completion of CyberAB CCP, CCA, or LCCA

Years of Experience

    • Average five to seven (5-7) years experience in a client facing role providing risk assment, advisory services, and/or consulting is required
    • Around ten (10) overall years of experience in the IT Security / Cybersecurity industry is desirable for senior or lead level positions is preferred

Bonus Points
  • Previous experience working for a CMMC RPO or C3PAO (Candidate or Authorized), or other 3PAO assessment experience
  • Additional cybersecurity certifications and experience highly desired
