Full Stack Engineer (.NET | UI/UX Focus)
Remote | Active DoD Secret Clearance Required
Federal System Modernization Program
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to influence how mission-critical federal systems function, perform, and evolve.
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong UI/UX capability to support modernization of enterprise applications operating in secure environments. You will contribute beyond feature delivery; shaping architecture decisions, refining workflows, and improving usability across systems that directly support operational readiness.
You will work at the intersection of engineering rigor and human-centered design, strengthening both system performance and user adoption within structured federal programs.
What You’ll Drive
Engineer Secure, Scalable Enterprise Solutions
- Design and enhance enterprise applications using C# .NET
- Architect reusable, maintainable patterns that improve long-term scalability
- Contribute across the full SDLC — from technical design through deployment
- Deliver secure, high-performance code within cleared environments
- Integrate applications with MS SQL Server or Oracle
- Influence project direction through thoughtful technical input and effort estimates
You will have visibility into enterprise-scale system architecture and modernization initiatives — not just isolated development tasks.
Elevate User Experience Within Complex Systems
- Conduct user research and synthesize operational feedback
- Translate requirements into intuitive wireframes and prototypes
- Refine workflows, dashboards, and reporting interfaces
- Improve usability and adoption of secure enterprise tools
- Present and defend UX decisions to technical and mission stakeholders
Your work will directly impact how end users interact with mission-critical systems.
Collaborate at a High Level
- Partner with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and operational leaders
- Bridge backend architecture with front-end usability improvements
- Support modernization initiatives within structured federal programs
This role operates at a systems level; blending architecture, user experience, and secure delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong experience with C# .NET
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, or Kendo UI
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server or Oracle
- Demonstrated UI/UX contributions (wireframes, usability testing, workflow optimization)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Experience designing enterprise or operational platforms
- Expertise in compliance-driven or regulated environments
