Platinum Technologies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys shaping scalable, modern application architectures.
As a key contributor, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing, building, and supporting enterprise applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software, guide architectural decisions, and promote best practices across the development lifecycle.
This role is remote and you must reside in the United States.
What you get to do.
- Design and implement scalable application architectures using modern full stack technologies
- Develop, test, and maintain applications across the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software in iterative releases
- Contribute to code reviews, unit testing, and continuous improvement of development standards
- Support production systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Build and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Angular
- Apply best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Work with DevOps tools and processes to support CI/CD pipelines
Requirements.
- Minimum five (5+) years of experience in systems integration, application development, or software design
- Minimum three (3+) years designing and architecting solutions using Java technologies, including Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data) and Hibernate
- Strong background in Java technologies, including Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data) and Hibernate
- Experience designing and building microservices architectures, including Angular-based front ends
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and modern design patterns
- Proficiency working in Linux-based environments and virtualized systems (Docker, VMs, ESXi)
- Experience with SQL and data modeling
Additional Qualifications
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and supporting federal security requirements
- Experience with API design tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
- Proficiency with modern front-end workflows (Git, Node.js, npm, Angular)
- Knowledge of authentication frameworks such as JWT
- Experience with enterprise search platforms (e.g., Solr)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
