Kepler prides itself on being a great place to work. In fact, we’re proud to share that AdAge recognized Kepler among the Best Place to Work in 2022, validating our investment in our team and our clients.
  • We're transparent with our employees. You'll hear updates on company financials, how we're performing against bonus goals, and how we're responding to challenges we face.
  • We're growing. For you, that means unparalleled growth opportunities and a role in shaping the direction of the company.
  • We're fun. You'll work with and learn from the smartest people in the industry and have a blast doing it.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Freelance Paid Social Media Specialist to join our Optimization & Innovation team through the end of 2025. In this role, you’ll work 40 hours per week on a contract basis, aligned to PST hours. You’ll focus on managing paid social campaigns in-platform, primarily across Meta and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of hands-on campaign management experience who can confidently launch, QA, optimize, and analyze campaigns.

You’ll succeed in this role if you’re detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and eager to apply your skills in paid social media buying and optimization to deliver strong results for Kepler clients.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage in-platform execution of paid social campaigns, with a focus on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest & YouTube, including campaign setup, launch, QA, and ongoing optimizations
  • Monitor campaign performance and generate actionable insights to improve results and inform client strategies.
  • Support the media buying process by implementing campaign structures, tracking, and pacing against budgets.
  • QA campaign setups and troubleshoot delivery issues to ensure flawless execution.
  • Contribute to weekly performance reviews and reporting, highlighting key takeaways and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Kepler team members to align on best practices and share learnings across accounts.
  • Work full-time (40 hours per week, PST hours) through the end of 2025.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on, in-platform experience managing paid social campaigns required (Meta and/or TikTok strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the media buying process and campaign lifecycle (setup, launch, optimization, and reporting).
  • Experience QA’ing campaign builds and ensuring accurate implementation of targeting, creative, and tracking.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and clearly translate results into insights and recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Nice to have: experience with in-feed product advertising and/or retail media platforms.
