About Hipp Health

Hipp Health is an AI-native healthcare platform built to modernize operations for non-hospital healthcare providers. We partner closely with ABA, behavioral health, and therapy organizations to streamline clinical workflows, billing, and revenue cycle operations, so providers can focus on delivering care.

Our platform combines EMR, billing infrastructure, and operational workflows with AI-driven automation, helping providers run more efficient practices and improve patient outcomes.

About the role

As Hipp's Founding BDR you'll build the outbound engine that fills our sales calendar, then hire and lead the team that runs it.

This is not an entry-level seat. In year one you'll personally book and hold 20 qualified meetings a month for our sales team, and you'll write down everything it takes to get there: the target lists, the messaging, the sequences, the qualification rubric, and the dashboard. That playbook becomes the system four to five BDRs will run as we grow the team over the next year, with a defined path to BDR Manager once three or more reps are in seat.

You'll feed two sales motions: our full platform sale to ABA organizations with 150+ employees, and our standalone AI intake management tool, which sells across the broader behavioral health market. You'll report to sales leadership and work side by side with the AEs you book meetings for.

What you'll doBook qualified meetings
  • Personally source and hold 20 qualified meetings a month with owners, executives, and operations, clinical, finance, and intake leaders at ABA and behavioral health organizations.

  • Run multichannel outreach every week: phone, personalized email, and LinkedIn, with protected call blocks across Eastern through Pacific time zones.

  • Research and build target account lists, tiered by size, service mix, and current EHR.

  • Own every meeting from booking to held: clean HubSpot records, AE handoff notes, reminders, and fast rebooking of no-shows.

  • Sit in on AE discovery calls to hear what buyers actually say, and feed it back into your outreach.

Build the outbound system
  • Write the messaging for our core buyer personas, including the problems each one cares about and the objections we hear most.

  • Build and maintain outreach sequences for both the platform and Intake motions, with tracking so every reply can be traced to its source.

  • Define what counts as a qualified meeting with the sales team, and own that rubric as the business grows.

  • Stand up a BDR dashboard in HubSpot that shows meetings, leading indicators, and sourced pipeline by rep, motion, and source.

  • Document your own conversion math (dials to conversations, conversations to meetings, meetings to pipeline) so it becomes the ramp standard for every hire after you.

  • Turn all of it into a playbook that someone new to ABA could pick up and start running.

Hire and lead the team
  • Shape the hiring profile and interview loop for junior BDRs, and run it.

  • Build a 30/60/90 ramp plan and coach new hires to 15+ qualified meetings a month within their first 90 days, on the way to 20.

  • Run the team's weekly pipeline sync and scorecard, and split territories or segments so reps never overlap.

  • Grow into the BDR Manager role as the team reaches three or more reps.

Partner across GTM
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to sharpen our ICP, messaging, and conference and event plays.

  • Share what you're hearing in the market so it shapes how we position Hipp.

What you'll bring
  • 4+ years in SDR, BDR, or outbound sales roles, with a track record of booking 4 to 5 qualified meetings a week, consistently.

  • Experience selling to practice owners, executives, or operators, ideally in healthcare IT or practice management software.

  • Comfort on the phone. In this market, the phone is still the fastest path to a decision maker, and you'll use it every day.

  • Strong command of HubSpot, Apollo, or similar CRM and sales engagement tools, and the discipline to keep data clean.

  • An eye for what makes a meeting worth an AE's time, and the judgment to hold that line.

  • The ability to work independently, set priorities, and measure yourself against a weekly scorecard.

  • Proven experience working with AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, and expand your individual capacity.

  • Interest in leading a team, and the patience to coach new reps through their first 90 days.

Bonus points
  • Experience as an account executive, so you know what a meeting needs to look like to close.

  • Experience selling to behavioral health practices, like ABA, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.

  • Experience building or leading an SDR or BDR team at an early-stage company.

  • Experience selling AI or agentic products.

Compensation and location
  • Base salary

  • Variable compensation: paid on qualified meetings held, plus a commission on closed deals you source

  • Location: Remote US

  • Equity: Founding BDR Equity Offer

  • Benefits: 401K match, full health, dental, and vision insurance, unlimited PTO, two off-sites a year, FSA, HSA, short-term and long-term disability, and more

Examples of your work

We'd like to see examples of outbound work you've personally built, such as a sequence, call script, target account list, prospecting playbook, or a dashboard you used to track your numbers. Be ready to walk us through your weekly activity and meeting numbers, how you defined a qualified meeting, and what you changed when results dipped. Redacted examples are welcome.
