Position Summary:We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with deep expertise in traffic technology, smart cities, and mobility innovation to join our team as a Focus Accounts Director. In this marquee role, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with some of the largest and most influential U.S. cities, building Miovision’s brand across our four lines of business.
You will engage directly with city leadership — including Mayor’s Offices, Vision Zero programs, Traffic and Transit agencies, and Emergency Services — to uncover challenges around congestion, safety, and data-driven decision-making. Leveraging your knowledge of V2X, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and public-sector funding models, you’ll position Miovision as a trusted partner in solving the most pressing mobility challenges of today and tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for marquee U.S. cities, driving adoption of Miovision solutions across all four business lines.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with city decision-makers, including Mayors’ Offices, DOTs, Vision Zero leaders, Transit authorities, and Emergency Services.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to address road safety, congestion management, and multimodal mobility through technology and data analytics.
- Navigate complex procurement processes in both the U.S. and Canada, aligning Miovision solutions with funding streams, grants, and policy initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success) to align city needs with Miovision’s roadmap and innovation strategy.
- Position Miovision as a thought leader by staying ahead of industry trends in ITS, smart cities, V2X, and data-driven governance.
- Consistently achieve revenue targets and pipeline growth objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive enterprise sales experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems, Smart City technology, or related fields.
- Proven track record of selling to municipal and government agencies in the U.S. and/or Canada.
- Strong understanding of traffic operations, Vision Zero initiatives, road safety strategies, and transit/emergency mobility challenges.
- Familiarity with V2X, data analytics, and emerging smart mobility trends.
- Deep knowledge of public procurement processes, funding models, and grant programs (U.S. DOT, FHWA, Transport Canada, etc.).
- Exceptional ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build trust with decision-makers at all levels.
- Strong strategic thinking, consultative selling, and storytelling skills.
- Willingness to travel across major U.S. cities as needed.
