The Opportunity
As a Financial Services International Tax Consulting Senior Manager you will advise clients on international tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax Services practice, helping multinational businesses address cross-border tax laws and structuring considerations. As a Senior Manager you will lead large projects, apply sound judgment, and guide teams through complex issues while building trusted client relationships and contributing strategic input to the firm's direction. In this role at PwC, you will use your knowledge of international tax to develop practical approaches, communicate clear points of view, and support teams in delivering work that aligns with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Advising multinational financial services clients on cross-border tax structuring, transaction planning, and global entity footprint design
- Analyzing international tax law, treaty positions, and local country rules to identify exposures, planning opportunities, and compliance requirements
- Developing technical positions on controlled foreign company rules, foreign tax credits, base erosion and profit shifting considerations, and domestic restructuring matters
- Guiding tax modeling, provision review, and documentation efforts for complex international structures and transactions
- Directing project workstreams across client teams, technical specialists, and internal stakeholders to deliver coordinated tax solutions
- Reviewing tax research, memos, and disclosures to validate technical accuracy and alignment with firm guidance and independence requirements
- Coaching managers and staff through complex assignments, providing feedback, and addressing issues that affect team effectiveness
- Communicating clear, actionable recommendations to client leaders and internal stakeholders on tax risk, compliance, and structuring decisions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
