Success in this role looks like:

The Financial Analyst position on our Finance team exists to provide excellent administrative support to our account representatives. The position starts with analyzing statements and putting together pricing proposals for prospective clients. Our Financial Analysts are responsible for assessing Gravity’s potential profitability in working with clients and acting as consultants for our account representatives. The position has the potential to grow into a larger role by assisting with other projects and responsibilities, which consist of but are not limited to: general company finances, designing and tracking performance metrics, managing employee compensation, reviewing incentive pay, reviewing vendor relationships, and managing overall costs. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing credit card processing statements in great detail and creating pricing proposals for prospective and current clients, finding opportunities for savings.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify strategic opportunities and manage company profitability
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports on various areas and metrics of the company
  • Performing portfolio and industry research and analysis, creating recommendations to influence strategy across the company.
  • Analyze segments of the company including: revenue, expenses, portfolio metrics, sales metrics, and other business metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve core business metrics and processes through forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Train new Sales and Operations employees on industry best practices and pricing as applicable
  • Handle any other additional department responsibilities or projects not otherwise listed

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in finance, pricing strategy, or sales operations
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience required, ideally in the payments or SaaS industry
  • Proficient at MS Excel
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate results to multiple audiences
  • Organized and very detail Oriented
  • Strong problem solving and self-starting skills
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability, working with urgency as appropriate.
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-sensitive environment. High degree of efficiency. 
  • Results Oriented, with an entrepreneurial drive
  • Must have proven results being resourceful in ambiguous situations

Additional Requirements

  • Must have access to a wired internet connection and access to at least a 25 megabits per second (mbps) download and 20 mbps upload speed connection.

The salary for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. We may be open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and the company.
