POSITION DUTIES:
- Creates templates and manages budget process for entire company.
- Develops and implements quarterly PL and cash forecasting models
- Develop financial models and analysis to support profitability and identify areas for improvement in all areas of business.
- Analyze complex financial information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Implement and work with daily/weekly/monthly financial dashboard reporting.
- Utilize accounting system for data mining and construction of business models.
- Prepare cost/benefit analysis on proposed capital projects and strategic investments.
- Prepare financial presentations for senior management team
- Prepare ad hoc operational and financial analysis and special projects
- Serve as the liaison with directors and the Finance & Accounting group to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
- Other duties as assigned including month end accounting work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required in Finance or Accounting or other related business degree. Requires college level knowledge of financial terms, concepts, and accounting principles
- NetSuite experience required
- 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, retail experience a plus
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret financial information, as well as the ability to explain and report data in verbal and written communication. Strong analytical skills are critical
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets, advanced MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills
