Mountain Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance & Insurance Manager to join our team in Glenwood Springs, CO. This pivotal role involves overseeing and managing all finance and insurance-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maximizing dealership profitability by developing effective finance strategies and forging strong relationships with lenders and customers alike.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all finance and insurance operations, including loan processing, contract and warranty administration, and insurance product sales.
  • Work closely with lenders, customers, and dealership staff to facilitate smooth financial transactions and secure competitive financing options.
  • Maintain knowledge of current financial and insurance regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase finance and insurance product sales, contributing to the dealership’s overall profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining financial products and assisting customers in making informed decisions.
  • Train and support sales team members on finance and insurance processes and products.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing finance and insurance performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Finance & Insurance Manager or similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of finance, insurance, loan processes, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Experience with Dealertrack and Darwin a huge plus.
