The Field Technical Sale Rep will visit customer sites, support sales, diagnose mechanical issues, and maintain accurate records, requiring strong communication skills and 2+ years of experience in the paper industry.

The Service & Sales Representative will provide, support and perform work relating to customer needs through “best practices” in the field. To maintain the highest integrity in representing the company while working with little to no supervision. Deliver a high quality of sale and workmanship while representing the company at all times in the highest standards of professionalism.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Visit customer sites to provide service, inspect gears, and support sales efforts
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering solutions
- Develop your technical knowledge to communicate effectively about our products and services
- Generate leads, create quotes, and follow through to close the sale
- Maintain accurate records of visits, customer details, and follow-ups
- Diagnose mechanical issues and help manage on-site projects
- Submit daily and weekly reports, and maintain your travel schedule
- Travel about 50% of the time
- Responsible for making in-person visits to prospects and existing customers, generating leads and quotes all the way to sale
- Create, submit and follow up on Quotes and RFQ’s
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in the paper industry (service-related, i.e. selling to paper mills)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Able to lift up to 60lbs. and safely use ladders or lifts
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school/college a plus)
- Must have a stellar driving record and be able to cover the southeastern US territory
