Gravity Haus is seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Expeditor to support our fast-paced culinary operations and ensure each guest enjoys a seamless and exceptional dining experience. You’ll play a vital role in connecting the kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring that every dish leaves the pass perfectly timed, beautifully presented, and ready to impress.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality and accuracy: Check every dish before it leaves the kitchen, verifying presentation, temperature, completeness, and order accuracy.
- Coordinate timing: Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth order flow and synchronized delivery of courses.
- Maintain standards: Uphold Gravity Haus’ standards of excellence, ensuring each plate reflects our brand’s attention to quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Communicate effectively: Act as the central point of contact between the kitchen and servers, relaying information on special requests, dietary restrictions, or order modifications.
- Support the team: Assist in organizing the expo line, maintaining cleanliness, and helping wherever needed to keep service running smoothly.
- Drive efficiency: Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively help the kitchen and service teams stay on pace during high-volume periods.
- Lead by example: Model professionalism, urgency, and teamwork to foster a collaborative and positive back-of-house culture.
- Champion the guest experience: Ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen contributes to an exceptional, memorable dining experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as an Expeditor, Food Runner, or in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality — willing to jump in wherever needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and organized.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry trays or dishes safely.
- Ability to move quickly and navigate busy kitchen spaces.
