Xylem is hiring an Executive Sales Representative for our Aquatics and Disinfection Solutions team!
The Executive Sales Representative for Aquatics & Disinfection business unit is a key commercial leader responsible for driving growth across our portfolio of advanced disinfection technologies for aquatics facilities, commercial pools, and related water treatment applications. In this role, you will lead complex sales initiatives from prospecting to close, with a focus on high‑value opportunities that require deep technical knowledge and strategic selling capabilities.
This position is accountable for identifying new business prospects, cultivating strong customer relationships, and positioning Xylem’s industry‑leading disinfection solutions to meet the evolving needs of aquatics operators, engineers, and channel partners. You will conduct advanced sales presentations, guide customers through technical solution options, and collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure successful project execution.
The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, expertise in water treatment or disinfection technologies, and a proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that expand market presence and accelerate revenue growth. Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Create and implement sales strategies
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Conduct market research and analysis
Account Management
• Manage and grow existing client accounts
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Upsell and cross sell products and services
• Address and resolve any client concerns or issues
• Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and sales activities
Product Knowledge and Marketing
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge
• Promote and educate clients on new products and services
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns
• Participate in trade shows and events to promote company and products
• Provide feedback and insights for product development
Administrative Tasks
• Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts
• Manage and maintain CRM database
• Coordinate and schedule sales meetings and presentations
• Handle invoicing and payment processing
• Monitor and track sales expenses and budgets

Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably within water treatment, aquatics, disinfection systems, pumps, or related industrial technologies.
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and closing high‑value projects.
- Strong understanding of disinfection technologies (UV, ozone, chemical, or similar) and their application in aquatics or commercial pool environments.
- Proven ability to deliver compelling sales presentations to engineers, facility operators, consultants, and channel partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to develop and execute territory or market‑specific sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Preferred
- Experience selling into aquatics facilities, pool operations, recreation centers, or commercial water systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards related to water quality, public health, or aquatic facility operations.
- Prior experience working with specifiers, design engineers, and consulting firms.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and strong data‑driven decision‑making skills.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 plus sales incentives plan. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
