About the role

We’re looking for an Event Coordinator to help us transform the beef industry as we scale rapidly across the United States. Halter is creating a completely new way of ranching - giving ranchers more data, quicker execution and time back to focus on things they love. Field marketing is a vital bridge between our inspiring ranchers and our groundbreaking product. We’re looking for that special person, with the ultimate can-do attitude, to help tell our story across the US.

You will be working with our customer teams to plan and execute on regional and national events, ranging from ranch field days to celebrations with Halter customers to trade shows and expos. You will get to be out in the field, capturing content with our ranchers, telling stories, and bringing the magic of Halter to life.

What your day could look like:

  • Plan and coordinate events You’ll take charge of our events from start to finish—trade shows, field days, industry conferences, community celebrations, and everything in between. You’ll lead the planning and execution for large marketing-led events like trade shows and brand activations, working with our sales teams to build regional events. From booking the venue to organizing merchandise, travel, signage, and the onsite experience—you’ll make sure every detail’s covered.

  • Work cross-functionally You’ll be the go-to marketer for territory managers and wider teams, helping shape event strategy and execution. That includes managing attendee coordination, designing event kits, wrangling collateral and signage, and keeping the website event landing pages fresh—with lead capture forms in place to bring in new customers. You’ll collaborate with sales, product, and leadership to make sure every event drives impact.

  • Execution and logistics on the ground You’ll own logistics on the day—from setting up and managing registrations to making sure every piece of decor and merch turns up on time. You’ll send reminder emails, follow-ups and post-event surveys. You’ll work closely with design and content to polish email invites, forms, and landing pages. You’ll be the person everyone counts on to keep things smooth.

  • Tracking and improvement: Reviewing data, to make sure we are constantly improving our processes and outcomes. A few examples might be:

    • Compile event insights and performance data

    • Digging into theories such as why we had a low sign up rate

    • Reviewing event registrations against actual attendance

    • Collating insights from ranchers during and after events

    • Inform future activity planning and share best practices across teams

  • Capturing content and building community: You’ll bring ranch and event experiences to life by actively gathering content on the field, capturing epic photos, gathering insightful quotes, interviewing ranchers, and supporting the team with stories worth sharing. You’ll work with the customer team to arrange merchandise orders, gifting and any other appreciation initiatives for existing and pipeline customers.

Who we are looking for:

  • Ready to roll up your sleeves: Thriving on details, you will be committed to making each event a success, and to constantly improving how the Halter brand is brought to life in our communities. You will have a track record of delivering thoughtful creative solutions in record time. You’re willing to get the job done, without ego.

  • An exceptional communicator: You will be great at written and verbal comms, shifting easily from presenting to our internal teams, to working with agencies, to chatting to ranchers out in the field.

  • Experience builder: An event isn’t just an event, it’s a chance to get to know who Halter is as a company. You will bring this to life in every event you run, going above and beyond to help our market and customers connect with us and the ranching revolution we are leading.

  • Grit when it counts: You will be used to managing budgets and setting up scalable processes for organizing events and merchandise, but you’ll also be resourceful and quick thinking, for when those inevitable changes come up at an event or in the middle of filming.

  • Happy to get your boots dirty: It’s a bonus if you have experience in the agricultural sector, or if you’ve worked in ranching, but it’s a necessity that you’re happy to get out among the cattle. This role will involve travel across the US, for industry events, field days on ranches or working directly with our customers and sales teams.
