Job Description:
We’re seeking an events professional to join our Marketing and Communications team as an Event Coordinator. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting event marketing including logistics, development and activation of key programs, sponsorships, and speaking engagements that align with our growth and marketing goals.
You’ll report to the Manager, Events and play a critical role in delivering high-impact experiences.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with events and marketing. The coordinator must be a self-starter and organized multi-tasker able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
You Will:
- Assist in the execution of brand activations, client experiences, and lead-generation at industry and Merkle-hosted events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
- Create and maintain event planning and logistics documents including budgets, manage the event contracting and invoicing process, support webinars, and research speaking opportunities
- Maintain the events calendar and coordinate event-related communication
- Evaluate event outcomes and provide actionable insights and recommendations for future initiatives
You Have:
- 1+ years of experience managing or assisting with the management of corporate events of varying scale and complexity.
- Experience with event registration platforms and website maintenance.
- Proficiency in building and delivering presentations.
- Independent self-starter with strong organization skills able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively (verbally and written) across a variety of teams
The annual salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
