Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven intern to support the advancement of Flexential’s ESG program and its integration with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). This role will focus on enhancing ESG reporting readiness, conducting peer benchmarking, and leading climate risk assessments across both physical and transition risk domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ESG benchmarking and gap analysis
  • Analyze peer disclosures and sustainability programs
  • Support ESG reporting framework preparation
  • Assist in development of physical and transition climate risk assessments
  • Conduct research on regulatory and public policy developments impacting data centers
  • Compile and structure data, documentation, and outputs aligned with ERM practices

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excel + PowerPoint proficiency
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into structured outputs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ESG/sustainability coursework or exposure
  • Risk management, finance, or environmental studies background

Learning Outcomes:

  • Exposure to ESG program development in a data center environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERM-integrated climate risk assessments
  • Experience with executive-level benchmarking and reporting
