This is a remote position.
Superlanet is seeking an experienced Epic Research Analyst to support our healthcare client in the Northeast. This is a fully remote, 3 month contract opportunity with a strong likelihood of extension. Start date is 4/1/2026. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Epic Research Clinical build, strong collaboration with research teams, and the ability to translate research needs into actionable technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Epic Research Clinical Trials build, including intake and documentation of research study requirements
Partner with researchers and research coordinators to gather and validate research intake details, study documentation, and data needs
Oversee research intake processes to ensure completeness and readiness for transition to Epic build teams
Translate research data requirements into technical specifications and “blueprints” for IT and reporting teams
Collaborate with Epic Cogito teams to support data extraction and reporting needs, including defining requirements for SQL queries
Work closely with medical students and residents to design and implement standardized data collection processes aligned with study objectives
Ensure alignment between research workflows, data capture, and reporting outputs within Epic
Required Qualifications:
Epic Research Clinical Certification (Required)
Hands-on experience supporting research clinical trials build in Epic
Strong understanding of research intake processes, documentation, and study workflows
Ability to translate business/research needs into technical requirements for reporting and data extraction
Experience working cross-functionally with researchers, coordinators, and IT teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Epic Research Billing Certification
Epic Cogito Certification (for research data/reporting)
Experience writing or supporting SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
Experience supporting academic environments with medical students and residents
