Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We recently raised $260 million dollar Series C to accelerate this mission. We are excited to be launching a new Factory in Mesa, Arizona, a 270,000 square foot facility that will create 350 new jobs immediately. We are opening a new headquarters to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to serve naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.

Hadrian works with startups, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and major defense contractors across space, shipbuilding, and aviation to scale production, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery on mission-critical programs. We are backed by leading investors including Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz. Our fast-growing team is united by a shared mission to reindustrialize American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond!

The Role

We are in search of senior sales and customer business development individuals with the drive to develop strong, customer value driven relationships with market leaders that support our growth objectives.

This role reports to the VP of Sales or the Director of Sales and requires a seasoned strategic enterprise seller who embraces the value of planning, process and execution against company and customer goals and opportunities.  This person is naturally driven to develop value-based relationships with customer executives to build and execute co-developed growth plans while working cross-functionally with internal and customer teams to execute to plan.

Hadrian has strong access to stakeholders at most Space and Defense primes, and a clear path to turn proof of concept manufacturing at the business unit level into transformation programs at the corporate executive level.  We start with executives who are champions of strategic supply chain change and throughout the organization to define value, co-develop growth plans, and execute.

No manufacturing knowledge is necessary, but a strong understanding of sales cycles within Space / Defense primes is important, as well as demonstrated ability to sell large contracts into the Defense sector.

What Hadrian Offers

  • Greenfield opportunity with customers that currently spend $100m-$3b annually at existing vendors we are disrupting

  •  Ability to sell two "products" where we have fundamental speed and cost advantages over legacy competitors we are disrupting

  •  Strong brand awareness and market momentum with natural industry tailwinds

  • A highly energized, driven, and team-oriented company culture

  •  Equity incentives

  •  An opportunity to help strengthen America's supply chain and readiness

What We’re Looking For

  •  Experience in developing and closing Million-dollar figure contracts with Space and Defense Primes and suppliers

  •  Working model of cross-functional customer planning and process based strategic enterprise selling

  •  Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively at all levels and areas with customers, from executive leaders to entry level buyers and quality control and design engineers

  •  Understanding of or interest in learning supply chain and manufacturing

  •  Hardware, software, services and/or infrastructure sales background

  •  High EQ and IQ with ability to grasp real pain points and opportunities with customers and construct a plan to solution and execute against

  •  Ability to drive multi-year engagements with customers (eg: start with one division, then 3, then entire company)

  •  Enjoys a fast-paced, high expectation and high appreciation-based environment

  •  True team player that is driven by creating customer and company impact

What Will Set You Apart

  •  Strong industry relationships that will support your success at Hadrian

  •  Strong technical acumen and existing experience selling digital Cloud, ERP or other large transformation programs into Space / Defense primes

  •   Founder mentality

Compensation

For this role, the target base salary range is $175,000 - $215,000 and the OTE range is $250,000 - $300,000 (actual range may vary based on experience and performance).

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Benefits

  • 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees

  • 401k

  • Relocation stipend if you’re moving from outside of LA

  • Flexible vacation policy
