The Employer Brand Designer & Multimedia Producer brings the organisation’s employer brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to life through compelling visual design, multimedia content and creative storytelling. Working within HR and in close partnership with Employer Brand, Talent Acquisition, Communications, Marketing and other stakeholders, the role leads the creative execution of employer-brand initiatives across digital, social, recruitment and internal channels. The role combines graphic design, multimedia production, motion graphics, video and brand stewardship to deliver a consistent, distinctive and high-quality employee and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Graphic Design
• Lead the graphic and creative design of employer-brand communications, campaigns and experiences.
• Translate the EVP and employer-brand strategy into engaging and distinctive visual concepts.
• Design creative assets for recruitment campaigns, social media, careers websites, events, presentations, internal communications and other employer-brand touchpoints.
• Create infographics, illustrations, animations and visual storytelling assets that make complex information engaging and easy to understand.
• Develop creative concepts from initial brief and ideation through to final production.
• Adapt creative assets for different audiences, markets, formats and digital channels while maintaining brand consistency.
Video, Motion & Multimedia Production
• Create and edit video, motion graphics, animation and multimedia content that showcases the organisation, its people, culture, career opportunities and EVP.
• Produce engaging employee stories, testimonials, recruitment videos, social content, campaign assets and other multimedia experiences.
• Manage multimedia production from concept and storyboarding through editing, post-production and final delivery.
• Optimise video and multimedia assets for different digital platforms and formats.
• Explore new creative formats and production techniques to continually evolve employer-brand storytelling.
Visual Identity & Template Management
• Build, maintain and continuously improve a suite of employer-brand visual templates that enable consistent and efficient content creation.
• Develop templates for social media, presentations, recruitment campaigns, job marketing, events, digital content and other recurring requirements.
• Ensure employer-brand visual standards remain aligned with the broader corporate brand while addressing the specific needs of talent audiences.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on the correct application of employer-brand templates and visual assets.
Creative Quality & Brand Governance
• Ensure creative quality control across employer-brand materials and campaigns.
• Review creative outputs for visual quality, consistency, accessibility, accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
• Act as a guardian of the employer-brand visual identity, helping ensure a coherent candidate and employee experience across channels.
• Establish practical creative standards and guidelines that enable teams and partners to produce consistently high-quality work.
• Provide creative direction and constructive design feedback to internal stakeholders and external partners where required.
Digital Experience Support
• Partner with the Digital & Experience Specialist and other stakeholders to support the visual design of careers websites, campaign landing pages and other digital experiences.
• Provide website and digital design expertise when required, including page layouts, visual assets, graphics, banners, icons and multimedia components.
• Apply UX and digital-design principles to ensure employer-brand creative works effectively across desktop and mobile environments.
• Collaborate with digital and technical teams to ensure creative concepts can be effectively translated into digital experiences.
EVP & Employer Brand Projects
• Support EVP and employer-brand projects from a creative and design perspective.
• Translate EVP themes, employee insights and employer-brand messaging into visual systems and campaign concepts.
• Develop creative approaches that communicate the employee experience authentically and resonate with priority talent audiences.
• Support employer-brand launches, activations, recruitment campaigns, events and internal engagement initiatives.
• Contribute creative thinking and visual expertise during project development and campaign planning.
Digital Asset & Visual Standards Management
• Manage the internal creative asset library, ensuring employer-brand files are organised, current, accessible and easy for stakeholders to use.
• Maintain master artwork, templates, photography, video, icons, graphics and other employer-brand assets.
• Establish and maintain appropriate naming conventions, version control and asset-management processes.
• Maintain visual standards and guidelines to support consistent application of the employer brand across the organisation.
• Coordinate with agencies and external creative partners when additional production support is required.
Skills & Experience
• Professional experience in graphic design, multimedia production, creative design, brand design or a related discipline.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across digital design, brand communications, campaign creative and multimedia production.
• Advanced graphic-design capabilities, with strong knowledge of typography, layout, composition, colour, imagery and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating infographics, animations, motion graphics and multimedia content.
• Strong video production and editing skills, including experience taking content from concept through post-production.
• Experience creating and maintaining visual templates and design systems.
• Strong understanding of brand identity and experience applying brand guidelines consistently across multiple channels and formats.
• Experience managing creative quality control and reviewing assets against established visual standards.
• Digital-design capability, with an understanding of designing for websites, landing pages, social platforms and mobile experiences.
• Ability to translate strategic concepts, EVP messaging and employee stories into engaging visual communications.
• Experience managing digital or creative asset libraries and maintaining effective version control.
