Working closely with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams, the Electrical Engineer translates system requirements into robust electrical designs that meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting continuous product improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts for car wash equipment, including PLC-based control systems, motor drives, sensors, and actuators.
  • Select and specify electrical components such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, power supplies, motors, and safety devices.
  • Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL, CE, and relevant local or environmental regulations).
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering to ensure proper integration of electrical and mechanical systems within equipment designs.
  • Support manufacturing by providing clear build documentation, troubleshooting electrical issues on the production floor, and assisting with first article builds.
  • Develop and execute electrical testing and validation plans, including functional testing, safety testing, and failure analysis.
  • Investigate field issues and equipment failures using structured problem-solving methodologies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, simplify wiring, reduce cost, and improve manufacturability.
  • Assist field service and technical support teams with advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
