As a Principal Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Solution Architect, you will lead complex business transformation initiatives for enterprise and mid-market clients. Serving as a trusted advisor to executive and operational stakeholders, you will define solution strategy, lead architecture and design, and guide the successful delivery of D365 F&SCM solutions while helping clients modernize business processes and maximize the value of their Microsoft investments.

This role combines deep functional expertise, consulting leadership, solution architecture, and client-facing advisory responsibilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead business process transformation and solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management engagements.
  • Facilitate executive discovery sessions, process assessments, architecture reviews, and solution design workshops.
  • Architect scalable solutions across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Transportation Management, and related business processes.
  • Translate complex business requirements into end-to-end D365 F&SCM solutions aligned with industry best practices and Microsoft’s roadmap.
  • Define integration, data migration, reporting, security, and governance strategies.
  • Partner with technical architects, developers, Power Platform specialists, and data teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Provide architecture oversight throughout implementation, including design reviews, testing strategy, deployment planning, and go-live support.
  • Advise clients on emerging capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, Planning Optimization, Power Platform, and analytics solutions.
  • Support sales pursuits, solution estimation, proposal development, and executive presentations.
  • Mentor consultants and solution architects while helping establish delivery standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of consulting experience delivering ERP or business application solutions.
  • 5+ years of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management or Dynamics AX experience.
  • Proven experience serving as a Lead Solution Architect, Functional Architect, or Senior Consultant on multiple full-lifecycle D365 implementations.
  • Deep expertise in Finance and/or Supply Chain Management processes, including procurement, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, planning, and financial operations.
  • Experience leading client workshops, managing executive stakeholders, and driving solution design decisions.
  • Strong understanding of D365 architecture, Azure DevOps, application lifecycle management, and release management practices.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns, including Data Management Framework, Dual-write, Business Events, Dataverse, APIs, and Power Platform.
  • Experience developing data migration and deployment strategies.
  • Exceptional consulting, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with both D365 Finance and D365 Supply Chain Management modules.
  • Experience with a Microsoft Solutions Partner, systems integrator, or consulting firm.
  • Large-scale, multi-entity, or global ERP implementation experience.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MB-330, MB-340, MB-310, or related Solution Architect certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, AI agents, Intelligent Order Management, and Power Platform.
  • Demonstrated success supporting pre-sales activities, solution estimation, and practice development.
