How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and manage video operations teams across platforms, ensuring optimal performance of video distribution, conditional access, VOD, CDN and CPE devices
- Provide engineering direction and support for new technologies and current operational initiatives
- Evaluate and advise executive leadership on system operations and strategic planning for next-generation video solutions
- Direct quality control programs and maintain consistent operational procedures in compliance with Federal Communications Commission standards
- Oversee project planning, capital budgeting and business plan development for video operations
- Drive succession planning and motivate teams to consistently enhance the customer experience

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field or equivalent experience
Experience
- 7+ years of engineering management experience
- 10+ years of experience in video control and distribution systems
- Demonstrated experience with project management

Skills
- Establish standards for system performance, observability, security, patching, and operational readiness, championing automation, CI/CD, and operational tooling to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Strong experience with CDN, streaming media, video workflows, origin services, or Cloud DVR platforms.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, high-availability architecture, observability, automation, and incident response.
- Experience with cloud and virtualized infrastructure, storage platforms, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with networking technologies such as load balancing, routing, failover, firewalls, and traffic engineering.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or similar tools.
