ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lead Talon.One's Strategic Accounts business across the Americas, driving our loyalty growth strategy within the Retail and QSR segments. This is a senior leadership role built for someone who thrives on long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and knows how to keep deals moving without losing momentum.

This is a remote role; we prefer candidates within commuting distance of Chicago, Boston or New York City, and you should be comfortable working Eastern or Central time zone hours.  This role also requires occasional domestic and international travel (<50% of the time).


ABOUT THE TEAM:

Reporting to the VP Sales, AMER, you'll lead our Strategic Accounts team, three Strategic Account Executives today with approved headcount to grow. This team drives loyalty growth across Retail and QSR, two of Talon.One's highest-priority segments, and your success here will be a direct catalyst for continued growth across the broader Adyen organization in North America.


ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

  • Own and deliver on revenue targets for the Strategic Accounts book across AMER
  • Build & grow an existing team of Strategic Account Executives, recruiting and onboarding new talent
  • Coach a team of tenured reps through complex, multi-stakeholder deals, sharpening how they navigate decision-makers and sustain momentum over long cycles
  • Design repeatable processes for pipeline generation, forecasting, and deal management, including how the team uses modern sales tools and AI to work at scale
  • Generate net-new demand and pipeline within the Retail and QSR loyalty segments
  • Partner closely with marketing, customer success, and product to deepen relationships with our most strategic customers
  • Represent the voice of the market internally, shaping product and go-to-market priorities
  • Report consistently against revenue, pipeline, and forecast accuracy metrics

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS go-to-market experience, including 5+ years directly managing sales teams
  • Proven track record of owning enterprise, strategic, or key account relationships, not just general enterprise sales
  • Deep expertise in at least one major sales methodology such as MEDDPICC, Sandler, Challenger, or Force Management, with working fluency across others
  • History of navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and building genuine, relationship-based trust with senior buyers
  • Proof that you can sustain velocity and momentum through long, consultative sales cycles
  • Ability to coach tenured, high-performing reps to a higher level, not just ramp new hires
  • Use of modern sales tools and AI to build processes that scale, rather than relying on individual effort

The estimated total compensation for this role is $375,000 - $425,000, though actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and location. The salary range is subject to change and may be adjusted at any time.
