The Role
Prime Team Agency is seeking a Director of Sales to lead revenue growth and drive new business acquisition across our expanding portfolio of ecommerce and digital commerce services.
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to company leadership. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy, generating new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and helping shape the future of our go-to-market organization.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, someone who can build relationships with senior decision-makers, close complex deals, and create scalable sales processes that support long-term growth.
Location: Must be in the United States
Revenue Generation & Business Development
Own new business revenue targets and pipeline performance
Develop and execute outbound and inbound sales strategies
Build relationships with ecommerce brands, founders, marketing leaders, and executive stakeholders
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
Conduct discovery meetings to uncover client challenges and growth opportunities
Present customized solutions that align Prime Team Agency’s capabilities with client objectives
Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities
Sales Strategy & Operations
Develop and refine sales processes, playbooks, and best practices
Build and maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
Utilize CRM tools to track opportunities, sales activity, and performance metrics
Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and emerging service offerings
Partner with leadership on pricing strategy, service packaging, and go-to-market initiatives
Client Growth & Partnership
Collaborate with account management and client success teams to ensure successful onboarding and retention
Identify expansion and upsell opportunities within existing client relationships
Serve as a strategic advisor to prospective and existing clients
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 2 years in a senior sales leadership or strategic business development role
Demonstrated success selling agency services, ecommerce solutions, digital marketing services, SaaS, or related consultative offerings
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets
Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Strong executive presence with the ability to engage founders, executives, and senior decision-makers
Experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting and relationship-driven selling
Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable CRM platforms
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Experience
Ecommerce, Amazon, TikTok Shop, marketplace, retail media, or performance marketing experience
Experience in a fast-growing agency or entrepreneurial environment
Experience building sales processes or leading a small sales team

Compensation
We offer a competitive base salary of $120,000 plus uncapped monthly commission. Successful performers can achieve total annual earnings exceeding $200,000, with top performers having the opportunity to earn significantly more.
