We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Security services sales, an extensive network, and a proven track record of driving business growth and closing high-value deals. The successful Director of Sales will be located in the North Eastern United States.


Requirements

As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Security services industry. This role requires an individual who is highly skilled in prospecting, developing relationships, and closing sales. You will engage with C-level executives, leverage your vast network, and collaborate across all business units to drive pipeline growth and revenue. If you have a passion for technology, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to lead from the front, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities within the IT services sector by prospecting potential clients, leveraging your extensive network, and making high-level cold calls and outreach. Translate client/prospect objectives into actionable next steps.
  • Building & Maintaining Relationships:
    Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at C-level and executive levels within target organizations.
  • OEM Connections: Utilize new and existing Original Equipment Manufacturer (Security OEM) connections to enhance sales opportunities and drive partnerships.
  • Value Selling: Use consultative sales approaches to understand client needs, offer tailored solutions, and position our services as the best-fit solution for client challenges and desired outcomes.
  • Sales Pipeline Development: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that opportunities are tracked and closed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Closing Deals: Successfully close sales opportunities, exceed sales targets, and generate profitable revenue for the company.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams and BU leaders, including, PM, SOC, Staffing,
    Integration, marketing and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Leadership: Proactively contribute to the development of sales strategies and best practices within the organization to move opportunities to close
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position the company's security services.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales, specifically in the security services industry.
  • Extensive network within the security and technology sectors with strong connections to OEMs and key industry influencers.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new accounts, and close high-value deals with executive-level clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert pipeline to sales, cross sell/upsell additional services to existing clients, close at least 12 new logo accounts per year
  • Expertise in value-based selling techniques, consultative sales processes, and solution-oriented approaches.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business units to close deals and ensure client success.
  • Self-starter with a drive to meet and exceed targets, a hunter mentality,
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive travel
  • Build strategic account plans and present your path forward to leadership
  • Use of Netsuite for pipeline building for qualified opportunities that support quarterly and annual milestones. 2x the goal/Accurate and timely forecasting is imperative
  • Confident and informed decision-making qualities and a proven negotiator
  • Seek out and plan strategic attendance for industry and client events securing new leads and opportunities through advanced planning
  • Sales Experience: 5+ years as a field BDE and 3+ years' experience in services sale
