Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.
Tenstorrent is looking for a senior operator to act as a hybrid Chief of Staff and execution-focused TPM for the RISC-V software organization. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who can help define team goals, turn them into executable plans, and independently drive cross-functional initiatives to completion.
This person will partner closely with the RISC-V software team and workstream leaders to improve planning, execution, dependency tracking, and operational visibility across the org. They should be comfortable thinking ahead on bottlenecks and risks, building mitigation plans early, and helping leadership focus on the highest-value work.
The role also includes org headcount planning, recruiting coordination, external asks, and helping prepare presentations and supporting material for customer or partner engagements. We are looking for someone who can represent the team well, filter noise, and become one of the visible faces of the organization.
This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX or remote from the United States or Australia.
We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

- Org & Talent Scaling: Support headcount planning, recruiting logistics, and hiring loop discipline to scale the organization.
- Leadership Leverage: Filter inbound noise and prepare pitch/presentation materials so leadership can focus on high-value work.
What You Will Learn
- Technical Leadership: Proven experience leading large technical programs or serving as a Chief of Staff/Senior Operator for a technical org.
- Domain Expertise: A strong track record working with engineering teams in systems software, infrastructure, or semiconductors.
