The Opportunity

Commvault is seeking a Director of Resilience to lead and mature our enterprise resilience program. In this role, you will establish the strategy, governance, and operating model that enables Commvault to withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptive events. You will drive resilience as a measurable business capability by partnering across Security, Engineering, IT, Product, Customer Support, and business teams to operationalize resilience through recovery readiness, dependency management, testing, measurement, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do...

Resilience Strategy & Governance

  • Define and execute Commvault's enterprise resilience strategy and roadmap.
  • Establish resilience governance, standards, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Mature and scale Commvault's Resilience Operations (ResOps) framework.
  • Drive accountability for resilience outcomes across the organization.

Critical Service Resilience

  • Define and maintain critical service resilience requirements.
  • Lead business impact analyses, resilience assessments, and dependency mapping activities.
  • Partner with business and technology owners to identify and address resilience gaps.
  • Maintain visibility into resilience posture across critical services.

Recovery Readiness & Validation

  • Lead enterprise resilience testing, exercising, and recovery validation activities.
  • Establish recovery readiness metrics and resilience performance indicators.
  • Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts following exercises and disruptive events.
  • Measure and report on recoverability across critical services.

Crisis Preparedness

  • Lead enterprise crisis management planning and preparedness activities.
  • Coordinate resilience exercises across cyber, technology, operational, and business disruption scenarios.
  • Support executive readiness and response planning.

Program Leadership

  • Partner across Compliance, Security, Engineering, IT, and business teams to integrate resilience into day-to-day operations.
  • Support customer, audit, certification, and regulatory resilience requirements.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.

Who you are...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, or related disciplines.
  • Experience building and leading enterprise resilience programs.
  • Strong understanding of critical service resilience, recovery planning, testing, and crisis preparedness.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex, global organizations.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or technology environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 22301, NIST, DORA, and related resilience frameworks.
  • Relevant industry certifications
