Director of Financial Crime Investigations

Job Description:

Matrix is seeking a seasoned Director of Financial Crime Investigations with extensive expertise in Actimize SAM solutions and AML regulations. The ideal candidate will possess 4-7 years of experience and a deep understanding of the following:

Actimize SAM Solution Rules: Proficiency in SAM-C and SAM-R. Actimize Case Manager: Hands-on experience with Actimize case management tools. AML Regulation: In-depth knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee comprehensive investigations of varying complexity and sensitivity, analyzing evidence for both internal and external cases.
• Apply reasonable grounds to suspect money laundering or terrorist financing, working to mitigate and disrupt financial crime.
• Perform holistic reviews of client relationships and risk assessments related to Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Fraud, and Insider Threat.
• Prepare and review suspicious activity reports (SARs).
• Conduct thorough investigations using Actimize SAM solutions.
• Manage and resolve cases within the Actimize Case Manager system.
• Ensure compliance with AML regulations and internal policies.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance investigation processes.

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in financial crime investigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• STRONG DEVELOPMNT IN SQL -MUST
