At Spectrum, you will negotiate agreements and provide strategic legal support to internal management and sales teams, ensuring contracts are managed with precision and foresight. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Negotiate commercial and government sales contracts with internal stakeholders, including Master Service Agreements, Right of Entry Agreements, Value Added Reseller Agreements, Requests For Proposals and Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Advise sales and business teams on contract interpretation and dispute resolution
  • Draft and revise contract templates and legal documents to enhance processes
  • Research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law and proposed legislation to manage risk effectively
  • Collaborate with other in-house counsel and manage outside counsel on specialized customer-related issues
  • Provide guidance to contract managers within the legal team
  • Contribute to special legal projects and additional duties as assigned

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Juris Doctor degree from a top-tier law school
  • Active State Bar Membership in good standing and ability to be licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction

Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a large law firm or in-house legal team

Skills
  • Ability to proactively manage multiple matters simultaneously
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Elevated leadership skills and strong attention to detail
  • Extensive experience with complex commercial negotiations in commercial and government settings
  • Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills
  • Experience counseling sales organizations on demanding timelines
  • Effective and tactful communicator, both in person, in writing and by telephone with a variety of deal participants
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced team environment

The base pay for this position generally is between
$112,800.00 and $240,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
